Special Trainings is an advanced training program focused on the development of hockey players who want to approach the level of junior and professional hockey. This program offers not only technical improvement, but also a clear vision of how a player can differentiate themselves and specialize in their role on the team.

In today's hockey, it is difficult to make a name for yourself with universal skills alone. If you already have a chosen position and want to move your game to a higher level and give yourself a chance for your hockey future, then it is essential to master specialized principles and skills for a specific position. If you were worried about how to develop further, you don't have to anymore. Defensive part

  • positional play
    Correct positioning towards the opponent, space control
  • Body play
    Board fighting techniques, blocking
  • Puck removal
    Puck removal and puck removal techniques without fouls
  • Playing in your own zone
    Controlling the space in front of the goal, removing blocks
  • Communication
    Verbal and non-verbal communication with teammates
  • Playing in a weakened position
    Covering the space, active stick to stop passes

ofensive part

  • setting up an attack
    creating the right position
  • passing and setting up an attack
    screening the court, different variations of setting up (under pressure)
  • mid-zone transition
    effective transfer of the puck from the mid-zone to the attacking zone
  • playing on the blue line
    controlling the puck, fake shot, holding the blue line, supporting the attack
  • power play
    controlling the game from the blue line, deciding when to shoot and pass
  • communication
    verbal and non-verbal communication with teammates

SHOOTING FOR DEFENDER

  • preparation of position
    correct body and puck position in hockey
  • using flexion during short and long stretches
    creating a window between the body and the hands
  • accuracy and speed of shooting
    reaction time between receiving a pass and releasing the shot
  • shooting under pressure
    simulation of various match situations
  • shooting from different types of passes
    different speeds of passes, but also different directions (to the front or back foot)
  • shooting during a power play
    shooting from the first, on the touchdown, fake shot
